HISTORY AND PRESENT

        State Vocational and Technical Educational Institution "Snov Higher Vocational School of Forestry" is an institution of the third attestation level that trains highly skilled workers in technologically complex, knowledge-intensive professions and specialties or workers whose activities are related to complex work organization, as a rule , from among the graduates of secondary schools. VPU can carry out retraining and upgrading the qualifications of working workers and the unemployed population, pre-professional training of students of general educational institutions, implement activities related to the development of young people's abilities and deepening of knowledge in certain educational subjects of a professional direction.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The beginning of the story

      The rapid development of the agro-industrial complex of Chernihiv Oblast in the middle of the 20th century. was marked by the provision of the needs of the construction industry in qualified workers. In July 1967, Vocational and Technical College No. 7 was established in Shchors.

    In 1969, Dmytro Myronovych Avdeev (1969-1976) became the director of the school. Training in new specialties was opened: operator of tower cranes, turner in metalworking. To improve the living conditions of out-of-town students, a dormitory with 400 places was built.

 Market relations changed the specialization of the educational institution. Taking into account the fact that the Chernihiv region has a large forest area and needs qualified forestry workers, the director of the school, Grinenko Viktor Volodymyrovych, who headed the school from 1994 to 1999, initiated the training of foresters, hunters and fellers at the school. This decision was supported by the "Chernigivlis" association, and now more than a dozen forest workers - graduates of the Snovsky Technical Training College are increasing the green treasury of Ukraine.

 In 1999, Ihor Stanislavovych Vdovenko (1999-2015) was appointed to the position of director of Shchor School.

  During the years of his leadership, the content of training and methodical support were updated, new approaches to the organization of the educational process, equipment and design of educational premises and workshops were introduced, the material and technical base was adjusted, computerization of the educational institution was carried out, and new professions were opened.

   Within the framework of graduate education, the school began cooperation with well-known educational institutions, in particular Chuguyevo-Babchan Forestry College, Lubensk Forestry College, Chernihiv State Institute of Economics and Management and Chernihiv State Pedagogical Institute of Economics and Management and Chernihiv State Pedagogical University, which resulted in the creation of educational complexes with these educational institutions, the Institute of Economics and Management and Chernihiv 

state pedagogical university, which resulted in the creation of educational complexes with these educational institutions, the main task of which is to create a system of continuous education, use the latest technologies in the training of qualified specialists, and improve the quality of knowledge. Initiated work within the framework of cooperation with German, Turkish, and Belarusian educational institutions on the exchange of experience, internship of industrial training masters and teachers. The priority areas of work of the N.Z. became: creation of favorable, attractive conditions for students and employees of the school, constant updating of the infrastructure of vocational training institutes, provision of conditions for socio-economic development, scientific and methodical work.

          Established cooperation with German colleagues in the field of professional education provided an opportunity for master carpenters and woodworking machine operators to undergo an internship on modern woodworking equipment at an elementary school in Memmingham (Germany), to gain knowledge and skills in working with such programs as "CAD ", VELLUM and CNC (the basics of CNC programming using the program "Wood Wop".

    During the period of Ihor Stanislavovych's leadership, an educational and research forestry-fishery complex was created on the lands of the Novoborovytsia Village Council, which included a pond with an area of ​​9.2 hectares, which is used for educational and economic purposes, and a plot of land with an area of ​​6.0 hectares on which a nursery of decorative and coniferous species of trees and bushes has been created.

      Constant work is carried out to strengthen and preserve the educational and material base, update the equipment of classrooms and laboratories.

    In order to ensure the full nutrition of the students of the school with meat, a student auxiliary farm is organized in which pigs, sheep, and grain crops are grown. The school has introduced a student form for all students, a model of forestry workers.

             By order of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Kvita S.M. No. 37-k dated February 2, 2016, Larisa Oleksiivna Dubina was appointed as the director of the educational institution.

      Financial and Economic Institute of Retraining at Chernihiv State Technological University, qualified economist;

          Chernihiv Collegium National University named after T.G. Shevchenko, awarded the qualification of engineer-pedagogue, teacher of disciplines in the field of transport.

        Having completed her professional career from the master of higher education, teacher, chief accountant to the director of the educational institution, Larisa Oleksiivna continues with dignity the work of its further development and development, which was started by the previous heads of the school.

              This is evidenced by the projects that the educational institution has and implements.

        On June 18, 2016, the Snovskoye Higher Professional School of Forestry passed accreditation for the specialty 5.09010301 "Forestry", which gives the right to train junior specialists in the specialty 5.09010301 "Forestry", qualification 3212 "Forestry technician".

      On June 30, 2016, the first graduation of junior specialists with the qualification "Forestry Technician" took place.

        As part of the exchange of experience in the training of qualified workers, the organization of internships for students and teaching staff of the school, international cooperation was established between the Snovskii Higher Professional School of Forestry and the Ogra State Educational Institution (Latvia).

           With the support of Latvian colleagues, the students of our school had the opportunity to take part in the international competition "European Students Championship in ForestrynSkills" in the profession of "lumberjack", which was held on May 25-28, 2017 in the Swiss city of Mayenfeld as part of four people from among the school's teaching staff and students and to take part in international competitions in the profession of "lumberjack", which took place from April 5 to 8, 2018 in the exhibition center "Ramava" in the city of Riga, Latvia. Cooperation within the framework of international cooperation with German educational institutions continues.

         Training workshops are constantly provided with all the necessary materials and equipment, raw materials for industrial training. Scientific and research forestry is being expanded and replenished with new natural specimens, a nursery for coniferous and rare species of bushes and trees, a greenhouse is renewed and established every year.

           A room museum of creative production-educational work among students of the forestry direction has been created.

         Considerable attention is paid to the implementation of the state and regional order plan, high-quality training of workers, improvement of the professional skills of pedagogical workers, development of pedagogical creativity, experimental and research work, implementation of best practices, pedagogical technologies, improvement of the quality of educational work among students, strengthening and preservation of material and technical bases of the educational institution.

        In the plans: the opening of new professions and new specialties, the development of social partnership, and the continuation of international cooperation. Constant and relentless forward movement.
